What is International Lolita Day?
International Lolita Day is a Bi-Annual fashion event hosted on the first Saturday of June and December respectively. It was started in 2005 as a day for lolitas to celebrate their fashion and communities. Every year, large meetups, tea parties, and other events are hosted by lolita communities across the globe. This winter, the Central Florida Lolita Society would like to invite you to spend Lolita Day weekend (Dec 5-7, 2014) with us at Walt Disney World in sunny Orlando, Florida!
What activities will be hosted at this event? Is this a convention?
This event is not planned to act as a convention, and as such there won’t be any panels, or workshops to attend. The primary activity will be visiting the Disney Theme Parks with friends. That being said, we are planning to host a swap and shop meetup at one of the hotels, a tea at the Grand Floridian’s Garden View Tea Room and have dinner at one of the Magic Kingdom Castles. Additionally, during December Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be hosted at the Magic Kingdom : a special event featuring live entertainment, a parade, and fireworks!
Is this event sponsored by Disney?
No, this event is not in any way affiliated with or sponsored by Disney.
